Subject: Stephan Clayton, ENG to U.S. in 1806

Is anyone out there researching the descendants of Stephen CLAYTON, who
emigrated to Philadelphia (from England) in 1806? He & his wife (name
unknown, but I'd love to find it out) had a son named William that year, and
subsequently moved to Brooke Co., VA (now WV), where they farmed near
Wellsburg. William married a local girl named Elizabeth PUNTNEY and in the
1830's they moved to LaSalle Co., IL, where I have records of their numerous
descendants.

I'd be happy to trade information and would like to talk to anyone with any
