My GGrandmother was Malissa Clayton born abt.1863 in DeKalb County
Al.Daughter of Thompson Clayton born abt.1823 in either South Carolina

l don't know if l have responded to this before or not but
I have a Thompson Clayton born 23 mar 1812, Louden, VA.

I have no further info on his descendants but have ancestors for him.
Do you think this is the right Thompson?
