Hey, does anyone know anything about these Claytons?

page 116 of "Hickman Co TN 1807-1993" article titled, CLAYTON-BRIDGES

"John Clayton, born 1790 in VA, died Aug 10 1864, in Lewis Co on his
farm and buried there, east of Hohenwald on Highway 99. John served in
the
War of 1812 and lived in Hickman Co, probably the part that became Lewis
Co
in 1842. John married twice, his first wife being the mother of his
children. He and Nancy Bridges married June 16 1814, Maury Co. She was
born
1791 in TN and died between 1850 and 1859. Both were charter members of
the
Primitive Baptist Church, Swan Creek, Hickman Co, organized in Apr 1825.
John's second wife was Mrs. Margaret C Anderson Perry. They married Mar

1859 in Hickman Co.
The children of John and Nancy were: Minerva married John Mayfield.
Willis married Dorothy Ann Mayfield. Nancy married James Love Johnston.
Morris married Harriet Sharp. Matthew married first Rebecca A Hensley
and
second Elizabeth Bullock. William married first Winney Payton, second
Nancy
J Campbell, third Emily Lee, and married another time or two. Mary Jane
married Isaac Newton Hulme. Henry married in Ark. Sarah married James
Mountable Sharp."
