Sir Robert Clayton (29 Sep 1629 - 16 Jul 1707) was the Lord Mayor of London.
The only date that I have of his Mayoralty is 1679. He was also a Member of
Parliament 1688 - 1702. He was a 'Scrivener' in the City of London.
To my knowledge, Sir Robert was the only Clayton to be Lord mayor of London.
