I am unfamiliar with British Geography and ( maps are all packed away for
remodel) cannot determine location of Lancashire with relation to Dumbleton
and Wormington in Gloucestershire, from whence came my Claytons. However,
my info brings our family back to Lawrence born 1700, married to A Tondmon (
b 1700, m 1725, marriages and deaths recorded in the registry in
Wormington). They had 8 male children, Henry, John, Charles, John, James,
Richard, Benjamin, and Francis. These names and also "Hollis" are
frequently used in subsequent families. If this connects let me know. Nancy
