<PRE>With regard to the name "Hollis" Clayton, my grandfather's chart shows 3
with the name of "Hollis" Clayton. All in area of Gloucestershire. Richard
(b 1734) and Francis (b 1739) were brothers, younger sons ( of 8 sons) of
Lawrence and Ann. Richard had a son named "John Oliff" in 1771 in
Dumbleton, and another son,named "Hollis" ( 1772-1779). Francis had a son
named "Hollis" ( 1766-1830). This Hollis also had a son named "Hollis" born
1804, married 1850, no record of death or children. This chart shows
children of the brothers of this latter Hollis (John, Allen, Charles and
George Gibson) but no further mentions of "Hollis" Nancy in California
