1. Start with yourself and spouse and children with full names, dates/places of birth and death and marriage so we know where you're coming from

2. Work backwards through your parents, grandparents, and on, using as many full names, dates/places as you can. Include the names and all other information about the children of each set of parents, as much as you can.

Perhaps we can fasten your twig to our family tree if we knew more.
