WRT your question about the Fords and the Clouds -- I'm embarrassed to admit I can't recall how they tie into my branch -- it is not a direct Cloud-Ford marriage so I can't look for it that way (maybe one of my Jeremiah cousins can help me out??).
There are three Cloud-Ford marriages in my records, but none are in my direct line:
Ann Cloud (b. ca 1771) married a Ford
Hannah Cloud (1757) m. John Coke Ford (1758) 1781 in PA
Sinah Cloud (1749) m. Nathaniel Ford (1747) in SC
