Dear Bonnie, Thank you for the welcome.....Am searching for FIDELIA
CLOUGH who married RICHARD E. LOOMIS on June 9, 1837 in either
Charlotte, Chittenden Co.,, Vermont before going to Wis. or else in
Appleton, Outagamie Co., Wis (LDS Family Search lists one date, two
diff. locations?)...... She had one son, HOMER E. LOOMIS, who fought
with the Wis 7th in the Civil War, as did his father... She also had
three daughters: JANE ELIZABETH LOOMIS who married AUGUST PETRON MARCH
in Wis in 1866; LEONORA LUCINDA LOOMIS who married ISRAEL BAKER in Wis
in 1868; and HELEN FIDELIA LOOMIS who married CHARLES ELLIS MARCH in
Wis. in 1862. FIDELIA CLOUGH LOOMIS died in Wis. in 1844,
prob in or as a result of childbirth....... RICHARD remarried a KENA
WHITNEY MARCH and had seven more children. Can't find Fidelia on any of
the CLOUGH lists....... She was at least part Native and am wondering
if perhaps she was not adopted......Does anyone have any info or clues
on my FIDELIA? Thank-you. Juanita........
