Hi Owen, and Welcome.

Yes, John Clough of Salisbury MA did come from the UK.
But, Clough-L is open to any Clough, Cluff, and Clow
researcher in any time, in any place. We are not
restricted to just descendants of John of Salisbury.

Unlike some of my other lines, who trace back to only one
immigrant ancestor, there were many different Clough's
who came to the U.S. They may or may not all connect.
We do have several list members who are from Clough, Cluff,
and Clow lines, other than John of Salisbury. Stay tuned,
you may find a connection here.
