Well said, Linda. What I see you describing is iron
clad protection of any and *all* rights of privacy of
the birth parents, while the adopted child is stripped
of all rights to know not only "Where did I come from",
but "Who AM I?". I think that's a pretty basic human
question whether one is into genealogy or not. Kind
of reminds me of the justice system. The criminals
seem to have all the rights, and the victims have
few or none.
