Okay, I'm going to give this a try. I am looking for Marquis De
Lafayette (Lafe) Akins. He lived in the Boulder area with his father
Thomas A. Akins d. 1879 and mother Margaret Akins d. 1881,both are buried
in the Valmont cemetary in Boulder. Lafayette homesteaded in Resolis in
1893 and relinquished in 1894. I have not been able to trace him after
that. Would like to find his grave and any family he might of had.
Oscar Spurlock was raised by Thomas and I think he went with Lafe after
the folks died. Would like to find Oscar too. Does anyone have any info
on this family? The cemetaries around Resolis have been searched by
various people for me and I even went to the cemetary in Valmont (I'm
from Idaho) but no trace of Lafe. Vicki Bench
