In a couple of days it will be 1 year since the Colorado Gravestone Photo Project [CO GPP] came online and tonight we reached a milestone by having posted 10,000 records. I realize that this is just a drop in the bucket as to how many gravestones there are out there but getting this 10,000 online has been a great achievement.

I cannot thank those of you who have contributed to this project enough for your time in taking the photo and then sharing it with this site.

Jim Davenport has been a huge contributor with his Civil War and other military stones.

The county with the most photos is Fremont, followed by LaPlata and then Chaffee.

Also, in the last month more projects in other states like this one have come online. Those states online now are OR, UT, AZ, CO, NM, NE, IL, OH, PA, VA and IA.
