Hello,
I found my ggf Ben Kelly and family on line 60 (can't read page no) and in
colum 30 the heading is: "Whether a servivor of the Union or Confederate
Army or Navy". In my ggf's case the number 3 is entered. Can anyone tell
me what the "3" stands for? Other numbers for other people are "4" and "5".

My ggf was born in 1865 so could not have been in the civil war.
