"November 6, 1895

This morning, after attending to the wants of our stomachs, we started on
again and drove about 5 miles. Then we entered the town of Flaglon. This
town
is made up of about half a dozen houses, depot and all. After passing
through
Flaglon, we drove about 7 or 8 miles. When we came to the town of Reabe.
This
town had about a dozen buildings, counting houses and all. It is a railroad
station (like all the rest) on the Rock Island Road. It is now about noon.
On
the left of this town about a half a mile is a farm house with a windmill
and
a large barn. It looks like more farming than any place I have seen for
weeks
or near 2 weeks. We stoped here for feed for the horses, then drove on about
a quarter mile from here, then stoped for diner. Diner is over, we are on
the
road again.
In about 5 miles we came to another rail road station with about 6 or 7
houses. The name of this place is Bovine. After passing through this place
we
rode about ten miles, then stoped for the night. Our stoping place this time
is right near a large railroad bridge, with the exception of this, the
rabbit
catching, it was about the same as other nights for the last two or three
weeks."
