If you are using an overhead microfilm reader that projects the image down
onto a platform, you can try different colors of paper to lay on the
platform. Sometimes that works. Also, sometimes (and only sometimes) if
you have access to a reader/printer, try printing out the page in question
on a darker setting.

but the film is very dark and they are the last on the page, where it's
darkest. I can make out the relationships of all but the last one, and all
the rest of the info going across the page, but the names are "iffy"---if I
didn't know their birthdates, middle initials, birthplaces, marital status,
I'd probably not even bother to try to decipher this entry. So my question
is about the farm schedule, which is listed as 96 for this family. Are
these available, and would it give at least the names of the farmer and his
wife, sons who work on it, or hired hands, or just head of house? Even that
would give me more ammunition for my argument that this is the family I am
looking for. And, are these schedules available for viewing? Where?
