My great-grandfather was a wealthy businessman in Greeley, Weld County, Colorado, named Charles Hamlin Ramsay. I have research done by someone who found his business records in something call "Bradstreets" from 1892 to 1901 and in "R. G. Dun's The Mercantile Agency Refernce Book" in 1907. I would like to research on his brothers' businesses in Colorado too, but I don't know where to find these reference books. Does anyone know which Colorado library would have financial records like that?
I was also recently told that my great-grandfather was in the state senate and indeed I found that someone had typed out his bio from the "Official Souvenir and manual of the Fifteenth General Assembly and State of Colorado 1905", although it doesn't exactly say that he was *in* the senate. I'd like to research this more, but don't know which library would have records about the state legislature. Does anyone out there know?
Thanks for listening.
