Trying to find info on brothers William and Andrew McDonald who left Scotland to live in America.
Andrew was born in Leochel Cushnie,Aberdeenshire in 1877,married a Jane Grant and they left with 2 young children George and James in 1901.
I believe Andrew SETTLED IN Las Animas,he may have been a farmer,children born in America were Raymond,Eugene,Ruby,Davidand Charles.
At the foot of his parents grave at Leochel Cushnie Andre has attached a small plaque and it says he came from Tridad Colorado.
William was born in 1863 at Leochel Cushnie he married an Isabella Williamson in 1887 in Kingman City Kansas
He was a stone cutter/mason and lived in the Pueblo area he died there in 1923.
Can any one relate to these families?
