I am trying to trace information about Matthew Bacon who
came from somewhere in Ireland and worked as a collier in
South Normanton, Derbyshire area-between circa 1824 -1868-

I need to narrow down where in Ireland to search for information
and wondered if there were any particular areas of Ireland
people came from, to work in the Derbyshire mines-

I guess this is a very long shot but I would be most appreciative of any
suggestions
