Dear Victoria:
By way of an email on March 31st to both Tom Crane and the list, I strongly
supported his vigorous defence of your right to continue to question and seek
information. I still feel exactly the same way. Yet now, this continued banter
is all becoming a bit wearing, if not boring. I am afraid that a further bore is
the "advertized" link to your own website which seems to be an inevitable part
of each of your emails to the list. Others, including myself, either contribute
to, or maintain important websites on coalminers. However, to me at least, it is
somehow inappropriate to constantly blow one's own horn on a list that is
dedicated to a free and open exchange of information, ideas and history. Is this
not fair comment and to the mark?
Sincerely,
Tom Mathews
