I am trying to obtain Divorce records on Artie and Hazel Bohannon. They were divorced 12-18-1939. I had a volunteer that did a look up, but he was only able to get me an index. He said he didn't deal with Arapahoe County. I have wrote twice to the county for these records and everybody is telling me they don't keep them. They told me to go to Vital Records and I was afraid to do that because from what I have read they give a certerificate. and I don't want a certificate telling me that they were divorced. I'm looking for more information. Such as children. I am researching my grandmother and her brother's.
