Hi Charlotte,
I don't have William Walton b. 1700 as married to Susannah Cobb but to
Elizabeth Tilghman....but he had a daughter, Susannah Walton. My father is
William Walton Cobbs II so I can give you a little Virginia Walton
perspective, but it is probably a different line of Waltons, I'm afraid.....
I have a Susannah Addison who married John Cobbs 1691-1758, son of Robert
Cobbs 1660-1727, son of Robert Cobbs appx 1627-1682, son of Ambrose "the
Emigrant".
The only Susannah Cobb I have is Susannah Cobb b. 1815, daughter of
Ambrose Cobb b.1775, son of Robert Cobb 1750-1822, son of Ambrose Cobb
1779-1797, son of Robert Cobbs 1687-1769, son of Ambrose Cobbs 1662-1718,
son of Robert Cobbs appx 1627-1682, son of Ambrose "the Emigrant".
Here's my line- it ties into yours at Robert b. 1687. I am descended from
his brother, Thomas Cobbs b. 1689. Both are sons of Ambrose b. 1662.
My father is William Walton Cobbs II b. 1925, son of Walter H. Cobbs b.
circa 1890 , son of William Walton Cobbs 1836-1900, son of John Cobbs
1805-1853, son of John Cobbs 1759-1847, son of Charles Cobbs 1736-1798
MARRIED TO ANN WALTON (I have a line on her if that helps), son of Thomas
Cobbs 1720-1761, son of Thomas Cobbs 1689-1750.
I think this is pretty accurate- anyone feel free to correct me- and I hope
this helps and that this is the Susannah you are looking for......
all the best
Elizabeth

Dorset,England, d.1714, Taunton,Bristol,Ma., Occ. Unknown. AUGUSTINE'S,
Uncle JOHN COBB and younger brother EDWARD COBB also immigrated from Dorset.
Both were Blacksmith's and Puddlers (Iron Foundry). Now for our "Newly"
identified cousins. I saw a gap between THOMAS COBB, b.Jan.16,1760, and
DELPHIN B. COBB, b.Dec.17,1821, of 61 yrs. I beleive that DELPHIN B. is the
son of WILLIAM A. COBB, B.1797,Morristown,NJ., d.1870,NY,NY, the son of
THOMAS COBB, b.1760. My speculation is based on Census data and the fact
that WILLIAM.A owned a Steam Boiler manufacturing plant in NYC, as did
DELPHIN B. It's quite apparent this Line leads back to EDWARD, brother of
AUGUSTINE. I, and I'm sure others on the list, would appr!
