Judy: I have been trying to get info about the Denver Orphan's Hone where my father & his brother were "Inmates" from 1900 (Census) to c 1904. I have sent, as requested, birth, death, marriage, passport certificates for many in the family including mine & my drivers license. I hired a genealogist in Denver - they would not let her see the records. My father was not adopted, he ran away with his brother. Through the Denver Public Library I was put in contact with Barbara Kraven, D.Y.C. Closed Records, 3900 So uth Carr Street, Bldg 81, Denver CO 80235. No response.
I believe your search was successful. Do you have any hints or information which might help me? Lois in Yakima WA
