Hi, Listers!

Laurel asked when the Colorado State Capitol was built. It was constructed
during the 1890s, but as with any undertaking of this magnitude that was the
culmination of many years planning. The Colorado State Archives has a
wonderful site, "Take a Tour of the Capitol" that is filled with photos,
documents, etc. Some of the pages take a long time to download for those of
us who still live in dial-up limbo, but unless you're a speed reader it
won't matter as it's all so interesting to Colorado history buffs.

So get a refreshing beverage, and maybe a (healthy) snack, sit back and take
a virtual tour of one of the most beautiful capitol buildings in the US
(yes, my view is a bit ah - slanted):
