In response to the Oct. 22nd e-mail from Tim Michelle @msn.com , offering to do lookups in a 1949 city directory for the area including Dener, I would appreciate it very much, he could lookup Charles/Karl DeClercq and his wife Elizabeth/Betty/Lizzie. Charles made his home in Colorado after WWI until his death in 1971. The info I have is that he was a tailor and had a dry cleaning business. He also spent some time in the VA hospital due to a head injury during WWI. I believe Charlie and Lizzie had 2 daughters - Betty Lou and Colleen.
