In 1930 census records Mr. John Taylor Sullivan b. 1862 Miller Co., MO was living with his Daughter and son-in-law at a residence in Denver County known as Aurora on Peoria Street. This family was listed in ERROR as Oliver M. Luhrs by the census taker. The actual persons were Mr. William LUHRS and wife Olive Marie Sullivan Luhrs and her father John T Sullivan. This living arraignment data was valid in 1930, 1940, and John T Sullivan died after June 1945 when his elder brother died in Missouri, but it is unknown When, What year, and Place or manner of Burial. Mr. Wm. T. Luhrs died abt. 31 July 1966, Mrs. Olive Marie Sullivan Luhrs died in March 1983 still living at the location on Peoria St.of Aurora in Denver abt. one mile from the Denver Stapleton Airport.
Denver Public Library maintains an index of OBITS but not all years are online for public view. I am the only Sullivan descent of JOHN Taylor SULLIVAN as Grandson, I am the descent as Nephew of Olive Marie Sullivan Luhrs. Her son Wm. "Billiy" Luhrs died in 1960, on I-25 out of Chyenne by a drunk driver.
30 year old Billy had a wife and three children.
Can anyone find these OBITS? Mr. Luhrs and wife Olive Marie S. Luhrs were both cremated at time of deaths by their own requests. No death data has been found of John T. Sullivan in the Denver public library Indexes up to 1960. Is it that both City of Denver and County of Denver do not have ay laws about recording Deaths within its boundaries and jurisdiction?
