How in the world can there be two Coffey families in the states of TX and OK
who came from about the same areas of the country and not be related
somewhere?
Starting with my Grandpa and going back in Time.
Arthur Coffey 1900-1969 Pontotoc Co., OK
Henry Gilbert Coffey 1872-1951 Denton Co, TX to Pontotoc Co., OK
Thomas Arvil Coffey 1843-1917 Gwinett or Cherokee County, GA to Pontotoc
Co., OK
Edmund Aurelius Coffey 1810-1895 near the dividing line btwn NC & SC to
Aubrey, Denton Co., TX (Belew Cemetery)
Lewis Coffey 1777-1853 VA to Gwinett Co., GA
John W. Coffey1755-1825 Albemarle Co., VA to Wilkes Co., NC
James Edwin Coffey 1729-1786 Essex Co., VA to Wilkes Co., NC
John Coffey 1700-1775 Essex Co., VA to Albemarle Co., VA
Edward Coffey 1670-1715/16 Elizabeth City, VA to Essex Co., VA
Let me know if any of these ring a bell. There has to be a connection
somewhere!
