Hi Coffey Rooters! I am searching for descendants of LEWIS MOSES COFFEY and
DELILAH TURPIN, my g-g-g-grandparents. Lewis was born in 1799 in Stokes,
North Carolina and died somewhere between Morgan Co, Indiana and Lousiana in
1844. Delilah was born in 1802 in Madison Co., KY and died in Martinsville,
Indiana. Their children were:

1. NANCY COFFEY born 1819 died 1899 married Robert Jones.

2. JAMES WILSON COFFEY ( my g-grandfather ) born 1822 died 1899 married
LOUISA T. NORMAN.

3. POLLY ANN COFFEY born 1824 died 1876 married John Lewis Cook.

4. ELIZABETH ( BETTIE ) COFFEY born 1826 died 1863 married James Ready.

5. JOHN LEWIS COFFEY born 1828 died 1910 married Celia Jane Norman.

6. MOSES TURPIN COFFEY born 1831 died 1912 married Lucinda Renner.

7. PHILLIP B. COFFEY born 1834 died 1924 married Anne Shellers Benjamin.

8. DELILAH COFFEY born 1836 died 1866 married Francis Ignatious Hale.

9. ELIZABETH COFFEY born 1839 died 1863.

10. ROBERT WASHINGTON COFFEY born 1841 died 1918 married Margaret Adeline
Blair.

11. LEWIS MOSES COFFEY born 1845 died 1887.

This family was living in Jackson Twp, Morgan Co, Indiana in 1826 to the late
1800s.
