Hello everyone,
I'm a new member of this mailing list and a descendent of Margaret Coffin.
She was born abt. 1768 supposedly in Philadelphia, PA., parents unknown.
On 2 April 1789, she married James Middleton, born abt 1762, also in
Philadelphia.
They had the following children:
Jonathan, b. abt. 1790
Jacob, b. abt. 19 apr, 1794
Margaret (Peggy), b. abt 1798. (my ancestor, she married Jacob Poorman and
she died 8 aug, 1889 in Centre Co, PA
James, b. abt. 1801
Thomas, b. abt. 1807
William, b. abt. 1808
There were also two children whose names are unknown. One was born abt. 1792
and one abt. 1802, or so my source says.
I'd like any information any of you may have, especially on my Coffin
ancestors.
