My Ggrandfather, Patrick Edward Doyle, was a mining engineer, Irish, Catholic, member of Knights of Columbus in Leadville. He married Hannah Leahy. They had a dozen kids, including my Grandmother, Mary Didema Doyle. She married Henry Westfall Hart in Leadville. He became a partner with Frank Zaitz in the Hart-Zaitz Mercantile Store in Leadville. Patrick died in 1909 and is buried in the Catholic cemetery in Leadville, with a beautiful headstone. Another of the Doyle daughters married a Ritzinger. Henry and Mary Hart had two children, Henry W. Hart, Jr., and my mother, Virginia Hart, born in Leadville, who married my father, W. Jackson Willoughby, Jr. I am always looking for more info on these folks, especially any contacts with the Leadville Council, Knights of Columbus (since I am a Deputy Grand Knight of my Council).
