I hope I am doing this right.
Peggy, it was a common practice for people to give their children the
mother's maiden name as a middle name. At least one child and sometimes
more than one.
I am looking for the family of Elizabeth Coleman who married Moses
Copeland. I do not know for sure where or what part of MS. - or for
sure it was in MS. The had a son named Thomas Coleman Copeland and he
then had children with the middle name of Coleman.
I would appreciate an information you could share on the Colemans.
