Hello, Listers, this lady is not a relative of mine, but in interest of
all things COLEMAN, someone might find it of interest. Florida Today
Newspaper Wednesday 16 March 2005 p. 7b, col. 1."Ruth COLEMAN Jones, 96,
died March 8, 2005 in her home in Cocoa Beach FL. Born Oct. 22, 1906 in
Tazewell Co, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Edward COLEMAN and
Mabel Shawyer COLEMAN. She was preceded in death by her husband, David
Harrison Jones, brothers, Lacey Lauder, Randolph COLEMAN, Gene COLEMAN,
sisters, June COLEMAN, Grace Lauder Sharp. Burial in Monte Vista
Cemetery, near Bluefield West Virginia." The Obit. is quite long,
telling of her activities, schooling, etc. Anyone interested in a copy of
