I have been searching for the parents of Matilda Gibson, b abt. 1829. She was married to Vaden Collins, s/o Morris and Susan Collins, and lived in Hawkins Co, TN when her first two children, James H. and Phoebe Ellen, were born. She later moved to KY where she is buried.

I was told that Matilda's parents were Dan and Patsy Gibson but have had no luck in finding these names. Of course, Dan and Patsy are probably nicknames. Does anyone have a clue to Matilda's parents? I would appreciate any help.
