There has been an interesting small flurry of activity on this list so
thought I would repost my interest.


James COMPTON b abt 1847 in England, somewhere.
(His father was James, a carpenter.)

Second marriage in 1876 in Staffordshire to Emma Greasley.

No idea about first wife. or any children.

James died 31 December 1880 in Hanbury, Staffordshire.

I realise this list has more American COMPTON researchers than UK, but maybe
someone out there knows of a James whose first wife died young maybe, or
something?


He has been a brick wall for some time now......
Hoping someone might be able to help.
