[Tracy?] Gave birth to 6 Children 4 still alive

Compton, Stella Dau. Single 25 Born June 1974 Miss. Farm Laborer

Compton, Katie Dau. Single 22 Born Oct. 1878 Miss. Farm Laborer

Compton, Irby Son Single 17 Born Oct. 1882 Miss. Farm Laborer

Compton, Eva Dau. Single 12 Born Mar. 1888 Miss. Farm Laborer


1910 Census Olive Branch, Desoto, Miss
Writing is nearly illegible and it looks as if the names have been misread but there is enough information to show this is the same family.

Compton, Irby W. Married Rents Farmer 47 about 1883 Miss.
Father born Illinois
Mother born Alabama


Compton, Zelma Wife 37 about 1893 Miss.
Both parents born Miss.

Appears that they were newlyweds as age at marriage was given as 47 and 37.

I am still on the compton list. Trying to find Jospeh Daniel Compton m.
Teresa Meadows fr alabama. They lived in Mississippi I think Desoto county.
He left her with three know children, Eva, Kate and Irby compton. They all
stayed in that area and Cohoma County, Ms. I know what happened to Teresa,
daus Eva and Kate, but not Irby or Joseph.
