Do you know anything at all about James Compton who was a younger brother of
Thomas Compton (the son of Thomas and Rachel Smith)? He supposedly moved to
Giles County with or to join his bother Thomas as they left Spartanburg
County SC. Do you know if he was married or anything about him at all? Any
descendants or family line?
