MS Excel is the full program and comes separately or bundled with MS Office.
MSWorks is the "lite" version of MS Office and has limited capabilities. Any
good computer software outlet should carry Excel and/or MS Office.

Just another soggy Seattle Sysop.

Subject: [Computers] Excel vs. MSWorks

Hello All,

Have three questions:

1. I'm wondering what the difference is between Excel & MSWorks as to
spreadsheet programs.

2. Also gather Excel is on the original Windows 98 CD and MSWorks is
in '98 SE Upgrade... am I correct in this?

3. If Excel is a better program where can I get it and what is the
cost?

Thanx ever so much.

Sheila
