Maybe I can help here -
There are several methods to do an A-V scan -
you can go on-line to one of these on-line
scanners; as PCcillin at Rootsweb -
you can also open up the A-V program on your
computer, then locate where it says to up-date -
then locate where it says to scan - and
choose among the options where you wish to scan; either
complete or just the hard-drive or just a disk-drive, etc.
Other than when downloading and/or installing a
specific A-V program, the OS and/or browser used does not
matter since it's already in the set-up of the A-V program;
ditto with a A-trojan and other A-nasties programs.
