Thank you listers for your help with Lyric Opera. I found on the www.lyricopera.org sight that the building at that location was built in 1929. My research concerns the time between 1896 and 1904. I found out also on that sight that the previous opera building was the Louis B. Sullivans Auditoriumn on South Michigan Ave. This might be the building that my grandmother performed in. I may be a little closer to finding this information thanks to your help
