Dear List: Recently I acquired a 1937 Kelvyn Park High School women's class
ring. Inside are the initials, "EF."

I found the ring in my mother's jewelry box in Heafford Junction, WI. She
has Alzheimer's and can't tell me where or when she found the ring.

I never heard of Kelvyn Park. But I used www.dogpile.com and located this
high school in Cook County, IL.

Cook County is my home county, as it is for my parents and grandparents. But
we were West-siders - following Cermak Road west until I made it out to
California several years ago.

Maybe someone in Cook County can help me return this ring to it's rightful
owner. There must be someone who lives in this neighborhood and can get hold
of a year book and let me know who the missing lady is.
