Just my addition to the frey... The Catholic Church can be challenging.

Information prior to 1915 is available through microfilms at the LDS. The
film information for St. Procopius is
Item 5: Baptisms, v. 1 ............. 1876-1885, baptisms, v. 2
............. 1879-1885 (Includes indexes for both vols.); item 6: Baptisms
................... 1885-1892; item 7: Marriages ..................
1886-1889 (1885 bap. & conf. on p. 550-553); item 8: Baptisms
................... 1892-1893 FHL US/CAN Film
1704767 Items 5-8

Items 1-2: Baptisms ................ 1894-1904 (includes indexes);
items 3-5: Baptisms ................ 1904-1914 FHL US/CAN Film
1710633 Items 1-5

Item 1: Baptisms ................... 1915; item 2: Marriages
.................. 1893-1905 (includes index; only 1 1893); items 3-4:
Marriages ............... 1900-1910; items 5-6: Marriages ..............
1908-1916 (includes indexes) FHL US/CAN Film
1710634 Items 1-6

Item 9: Marriages .................. 1910-1915 FHL US/CAN Film
1710634 Item 9

Item 7: Communion .................. 1886-1915 FHL US/CAN Film
1710634 Item 7

Item 10: Confirmations ............. 1881-1914 FHL US/CAN Film
1710634 Item 10

Item 1: Communion .................. 1899-1904 FHL US/CAN Film
1710636 Item 1

Item 8: Deaths ..................... 1890-1895 FHL US/CAN Film
1710634 Item 8

Items 2-3: Deaths .................. 1896-1915 FHL US/CAN Film
1710636 Items 2-3

Information after that date can be obtained from the chuch if they're still
open. I have obtained information from some parishes more easily then
others. I don't know of any suggestions for Judy, other than to keep
trying.

I have gone to the Archdiocese of Chicago to get some information of my
mother's. It's a little more challenging. You have to know the exact church
for which you're looking. Because the information I needed was from 1932,
I had to bring her birth certificate, her marriage certificate, my birth
certificate, my marriage certificate, and then I had to show my license.
There was only one person in charge of this and she had to pull the
microfilm for me.
