BlankThis is in reference to another Chicago 'landmark'.
I live in South West Michigan & in the 1950's my dad would take us to visit
my
deceased mother's relatives on W. Farragut Ave. He always took the "old
road"
which I think would have been called US-12. We always drove by a factory
which had a moving display on top. I think it was a box of Rinso soap.
It seems like it even played the Rinso song and bubbles may or may not have
floated out of the box.
OK, am I just imagining this or does anyone know where this factory was
located?
I'm thinking it was in the southern part of Chicago, maybe around Calumet?
Thanks,
Marge in MI
