William Alexander Cooke was born Portwood/Brinnington, Cheshire, England
Christening date: 10 Feb 1833
Recorded in Stockport, Cheshire, England
Fathers name: Joseph Cooke
Mother: Rebecca

I found Rebecca Cook on 1841 census for Brinnington who was 25 yrs old and William Cook listed under her being 8 yrs old, there are no others shown in the household. William was born in the same county of the census, Rebecca was not.

I know it isnt much more than I had before, but every little bit helps.

Still seeking help on this family and especially more information on Joseph and Rebecca.

Hoping someone, somewhere can help!
