As matter of information, the town of Caddoa is submerged under the waters
of John Martin Reservoir south of Hasty Colorado. The ATSF Ry moved their
line to the south when the reservoir dam was being built in the early
forties, and what ever buildings that were not moved were covered by the
water. I heard few years ago, the reservoir level was down considerably and
some of the old foundations became visible for a short time, until spring
floods brought the water level back up. The ATSF had a depot named Caddoa
on the new line for many years until the station was closed and removed.
