According to the history books:
Charles Sumner Tainter married Lila Munro in June of 1886. The engraved piece that I have is June 26, 1899 with initials LTG and I have another piece with the same intials but no date (larger T in the middle). Lila died in 1924. It does not appear that Lila was married before Charles, so I am trying to figure out how the "G" got there. My father recalls it was "Gant" but that is all we know. Thank you!
