Want to thank everyone who shared their memories of the CREWS-BEGGS
department store. Sounds much like our Christman's and Newman's department
stores of which I too have many fond memories.
Apparently your Crews-Beggs changed from a coffee seller in the teens to
the department store in the 20's or 30's. The picture I have shows very
little of the store itself-- mainly the delivery truck and the three young
men beside it. in what was probably the fashion of the teens.
