Hello everybody!
I have GREAT NEWS! Yep, news! (little play on words).
I have just uploaded the first installment of Jean Griesan's news articles
that she has been so diligently working on. Go take a look at them and
PLEASE let me know what you think. They start in 1868.

We owe Jean a great big THANK YOU for her work, so please let her know here
on the list if you enjoy reading these articles.
I still have quite a few more to get posted that are already done. Plus we
want to know if you want to see this continued. If we hear from you that you
enjoy them, Jean is willing to go forth with the project and keep adding to
it. If we don't hear from you I will post the ones I already have but will
stop there. There's not much sense in Jean working so hard if you don't want
to see them.
These articles are packed full of local names and so much information that
gives you a sense of the era that I think most of you will enjoy them. I
especially noted one article where a couple of children were missing and it
wasn't known if they were stolen by Indians or what. Sure wish I knew the
outcome of that!
