Believe that what Cliff "meant to say" was, anything PUBLISHED before
1923 is no longer ©. Something written but not published would still be
subject to copyright if discovered and published today, as I understand
the current law. It would be subject to the current period of copyright
for this class, life + 70 years or Dec 31, 2002, whichever is greater.
