Subject: Copyright question--Book published in India 1908
Date: Sat, 10 Sep 2005 09:38:17 -0700 (PDT)
I borrowed a book through Interlibrary Loan that is a history of a church in India that my ancestors attended. The book was published in Calcutta, India in 1908. Under Indian copyright law, is this now under public domain? Can I make copies/scans/digital images of the pages? What about posting them on the Internet? What about the photographs in the book? Is this a different matter entirely?
Thanks,
Melanie
