I have already sent you an e-mail but in case you check here first I want to let you know that I have at least one Hay in my Cormack ancester from Whinnyfold. Since it is a small village, all the inhabitants in the past were Cormacks, Hays, Cays, Taylors, etc. - not a lot of different families. My 2nd greatgrandaunt Isabel Cormack married John Hay on September 25, 1844 in Cruden Parish. They were both from Whinnyfold. John Hay was born in 1818. They are both buried in Cruden Churchyard. I hope he is your connection to the Cormacks. Let me know.
